QuikTrip is advancing its expansion in Newnan by submitting plans for a new fueling station at the corner of Poplar Road and Newnan Crossing Bypass. This location was once considered by Hat Creek Burgers, which retracted its plans in 2022. While the construction start date for the QuikTrip facility is not yet set, surveying activity indicates progress. The new station will be located near the Express Oil Change, contributing to the area's commercial growth.

Capital Tacos, originally from Land O’ Lakes, Florida, is expanding into Coweta County, with a new location set to open in Newnan Promenade in the former Moe’s Southwest Grill (1111 Bullsboro Road), a small strip center at Newnan Crossing Boulevard and Bullsboro Road.

The chain started 2023 with locations only in Florida. Over the past few months however, Capital Tacos has entered six new markets including a pair of Atlanta area outposts in Johns Creek and Peachtree Corners in May and October respectively. Since its start in 2013, the chain has grown significantly, entering six new markets including two in the Atlanta area. The expansion includes states like Colorado, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. The first three Georgia locations, including Newnan, will be corporate-owned.

Capital Tacos prides itself on “Tacos Done Right” and offers a menu not only of assorted tacos but also “monster quesadillas,” “crazy fries,” “epic nachos,” burritos, bowls and even fajitas like the “Andre 3001: Fajita chicken & sizzlin’ bacon tossed in Texican BBQ sauce, with chihuahua cheese, corn salsa, and chipotle BBQ sauce.
